Dies TU Delft: Our future with robots
met Karel Luiben, Robert Babuska, Sebastian Thrun
The celebration of the 174th Dies Natalis of the TU Delft
Our lives are filled with machines and technology. With robots too, though mostly unobtrusively in the background. Continual progress in computer power, sensor technology, machine learning and related fields, means that robots are now entering our daily lives and interact with us at many levels – presenting us with a whole new set of research and design challenges. On the occasion of this year’s TU Delft foundation day celebrations, we will be imagining our future with robots and discussing how our research is helping to shape this.
